1. Preston North End Community Trust, Deepdale
PNE Community and Education Trust will be offering a food collection service for vulnerable children during October half-term. Families will be able to collect meals from the community offices at Deepdale between 11.30am and 2pm, Monday to Friday. You can email [email protected] for more information.
2. Noor Foodbank, Noor Street, Preston
Volunteers at Noor Foodbank in Deepdale are providing meals to struggling families during half-term and will deliver to anyone in need of a helping hand. You can ask for help by visiting their website: https://noorfoodbank.co.uk/
3. Preston Market, Lancaster Road
Stall holders have joined forces to provide free children's lunch bags for families in need this half term. They are available for collection Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2pm, from the Market Hall. Lunches contain sandwich, fruit, yoghurt & sweets all donated by the traders and organised by Julie from Brew + Bake.
4. Box Kitchen, Fishergate, Preston
A proud member of the local community, Box Kitchen in Fishergate are offering school-aged children a free lunch time meal of chicken, fries and a sauce of their choice during half-term. Children can ask for their free meal between 11.30am and 2pm, Monday to Friday.
