Preston On Ice launches spectacular entertainment - here's everything you need to know
Preston On Ice is set to bring extra festive cheer to the city centre this December with live entertainment including stilt walkers, LED performers and special seasonal characters appearing around the rink on selected dates.
Festive favourite returns
Preston On Ice has once again transformed the city centre into a winter destination, offering residents and visitors the chance to enjoy a real ice rink beneath Preston’s historic Victorian market canopy.
The rink spans around 400 square metres and is open daily, catering for skaters of all abilities from complete beginners to more confident ice-goers.
Skating sessions are available throughout the day, while a nearby ski chalet-style bar provides a warm place to relax with seasonal food and drink.
What’s on?
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Preston On Ice will host live entertainment on selected dates throughout December, delivered by Wolf Entertainments & Events. Between 1pm and 7pm, visitors can expect a programme of eye-catching performances taking place around the rink.
Acts will include stilt walkers, LED performers, jugglers and roller skaters, all designed to bring colour, movement and festive energy to the city centre.
There will also be special appearances from the Ice King, offering younger visitors the chance to meet a seasonal character during their visit.
