Did anyone from Lancashire win an NTA this year?

Unfortunately not quite, but Kate Garraway did win the Authored Documentary Award for her documtary ‘Derek’s Story’ about her late Chorley born husband Derek Draper.

The 57-year-old presenter attended the ceremony with her and Derek’s two children, Billy and Darcey.

Accepting her speech, Kate brought Billy and Darcey on the stage as she reflected on how they are half-way through the first year of "firsts" without Derek, saying: "It's so strange to be here - this one's for you Derek, absolutely."
