Mayor Steve steps out into the Chorley moonlight for a charity walk

Councillor Steve Holgate will be joined by his daughter and Mayoress, Emma, and five of his nine grandchildren on the four mile walk in Chorley'

He is appealing for donations from folk and has set a target of £500. He has already raised £325.

On his Just Giving page, he says: "I chose St Catherine's Hospice as one of the organisations I wanted to raise money for during my mayoral year due to the outstanding care it provides for local people and their families at the most difficult of times. The hospice relies heavily on fundraising and donations to operate, day in and day out, 365 days a year."
