Lane closed on Lancashire motorway due to pothole problem
One lane of a busy stretch of the motorway in Lancashire was closed today due to a pothole.


Highways England announced the incident at around 8.30am on Sunday (February 7).
It affects the M6 northbound near Leyland.
Highways England tweeted: "The M6 northbound Charnock Richard Services to J28 (Leyland B5256), one lane has been closed due to a pothole.
"Traffic Officers are currently at scene, Maintenance Crews are on their way to the area to assist."
Traffic was said to be coping well as emergency repairs were carried out.
