It’s a list filled with incredible restaurants, chefs and the people who run them, so it’s humbling to be included at all. This isn’t about me though, this award goes to the entire team at Moor Hall; it’s such a group effort, and we’re so fortunate to have the best team imaginable. Bringing this award back home to Lancashire and flying the flag for the North West and its amazing produce means the world to me.”
Meanwhile, The Parkers Arms in Newton-In-Bowland in the Ribble Valley placed 44th, making it the second highest ranked Lancashire establishment.
Stosie Madi, Chef Co proprietor said: “We are delighted to have maintained a listing in the prestigious Top 100 for the 6th year running and to have kept a top 50 listing is just wonderful. More than anything we are extremely proud to represent Lancashire & the Ribble Valley nationally once again. Being no 2 in Lancashire & number 44 in the UK is a massive feat and we are very very proud. I was also extremely honoured and proud to be nominated and shortlisted for chef of the year, being one of 8 industry greats is a huge accolade in itself.”
Another Lancashire establishment to make the top 100 restaurants was Northcote in Langho, which came 96th.
