The 2005 Ashes winner was spotted filming alongside his pal and former Liverpool FC star Jamie Redknapp at the cafe in Moor Park.

It was thought that the pair were in town to film a new series of their Sky One comedy panel show A League of Their Own, but staff at the cafe said they were filming an interview for ITV.

Kelly Davies, owner of Rosemary on the Park, said on Facebook: "This morning I woke very early full of concern for many reasons. I then received a call at my cafe.

"Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp interviewed with ITV for a forthcoming programme at Rosemary on the Park.

"Team Rosemary were very happy to serve the boys and film crew with our yummy food and drinks. Enjoyed by all."

On Friday (September 18), Freddie and Jamie were spotted together at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester ahead of filming in Preston.
