Chorley fashioner designer Ross Griffiths 'lashes' out into beauty trade

A Chorley fashion designer is set to collaborate with an eco friendly lash brand to create one of a kind, limited edition eyelashes for everyone.

Fresh off coming runner up in the Business Start up category at the Business Success Awards 2022, Kingfisher Couture founder Ross Griffiths has decided to 'lash' out his clothing business by joining forced with Northern Lashes Ltd.

Not even a year old, Ross' online clothing business continues to soar - arranging VIP events, launching his first catwalk show at Astley Hall, to attending award ceremonies as a finalist and sponsor in Birmingham and designing several gowns for guests.

After a challenging 11 year battle with mental health, a HIV diagnosis and online trolls, Ross decided to take stock of his life, cut the shackles and rise again like a phoenix.

He said: "To come runner up at this year's awards was honestly a shock. I was not expecting this for my business at such an early stage.

"Just seeing my designs in person at events and to be a finalist was a win for me.

"After a huge amount of success for my team, business and I, I feel now is the time to take my business to the next level."

Touching upon his new adventure which will see him delve into the beauty industry, Ross added: "I have a very exciting collaboration coming up with sustainable lash brand Northern Lashes Ltd.

"We will be designing a limited edition fashion lash for everyone to enjoy and many discussions with other small businesses to collaborate with as we move Kingfisher into the pageant industry.

"As a business we want out ethos to be that fashion has no boundaries and hope to bring together likeminded individuals, business and creators from all over Lancashire to share experiences, opportunities and network.

Northern Lashes Ltd based is based in Bolton and provides biodegradable, plastic free, eco friendly vegan lashes.
