Whilst those members who were at out base training responded with the team response vehicles other volunteers made their way directly to the location.

The casualty had been riding up at Bacup MX Track, and suffered a back injury when they had taken a fall.

It was expected that the NWAS crew would require additional assistance to ensure the casualty could be transferred safely to the ambulance.

Team members were deployed and once on scene the casualty was transferred onto the Bell and Wheel for a short extraction to the awaiting ambulance.
