MISSING: Police search for teenager

Fourteen-year-old Matthew Hurst was last seen on Montcliffe Road at around 10.30pm yesterday.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, of medium build and with short black hair.

He was wearing a blue jacket with black tracksuit pants and black trainers.

PCSO Jo Hughes, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are getting increasingly concerned about Matthew and if anyone has seen him or knows where he might be then please call us on 101.

“We would also urge Matthew, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch with us or his family to let us know what you are safe.”
