Missing man may be in Blackpool or Preston, say police
Police are growing increasingly concerned about a man who has been missing from his home for a week.
Mark Doyle, 56, was last seen on July 19 in a pub in Whitworth.
Since then, there has been a possible sighting of him at the Grand Metropole hotel in Blackpool.
Police say they believe he is in the Blackpool or Preston area, and are urging anyone who knows where he is to get in touch.
Sgt Duncan Arthur said: “We, along with Mr Doyle’s family, are becoming increasingly worried about his welfare as it’s getting towards a week since he went missing.
“I would urge Mr Doyle, or indeed anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in contact with us immediately.”
