It wasn't just a shop - British Heart Foundation in Chorley say a heartfelt thank you ahead of closure
The much loved shop is due to close later this month.
It wasn't just a shop are the words from staff at the British Heart Foundation in Chorley as they prepare to say a final goodbye later this month when it closes for good.
The BHF shop, located at Unit 5 Market Walk, thanked the local community for their support over the years as preparations begin for the pending closure.

The closure was recently announced as part of the charity’s efforts to ensure its retail network remains commercially sustainable.
The shop is one of 90 set to close within a year.
The charity said that in total, around 150 of its shops and stores will close over the next two financial years, “to ensure our retail network remains commercially sustainable and continues to generate vital funds for lifesaving research.”
Carol Mitchell, Regional Manager at British Heart Foundation, said: “We would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone in Chorley who has supported our store over the years and helped us raise vital funds for cardiovascular research.
“Our shop has been so much more than a place to shop. It has been a valued part of the local community, providing a place for people to volunteer, generously donate and for our lovely loyal customers to shop. They’ve all helped make a real difference.
“We are enormously grateful for the support we have received and while our shop will close soon, we hope everyone will continue supporting the British Heart Foundation by shopping, donating or volunteering in our other shops.”
As the shop enters its final weeks, the team would love to see familiar faces and welcome new customers through the door.

Carol added: “With lots of great finds still available, you can still pick up a bargain and help us fund research.”
The shop will close on Saturday, November 21. Donations can still be made through other BHF shops, donation points, home collection service and online post to donate options.
Supporters can also use the shop finder tool on the charity’s website to find their next nearest BHF shop.
