"Incredibly excited": Opening date for new Penwortham tapas restaurant revealed

Would-be diners are encouraged to book.

The opening date of a new Spanish restaurant in the heart of Penwortham has been announced.

Now, after weeks of work, they’re close to welcoming their first guests.

Ellis said: “Getting Casa Brío to this point has been one of the most challenging things we’ve ever done, but we’re so proud of what we’ve created. The space is almost unrecognisable, and we’ve brought to life exactly what we envisioned - a relaxed, homely setting with Spanish influence, taking guests from brunch and lunch through to shared tapas and wine in the evening.”

Liam said: “We’re incredibly excited to open our doors and welcome people in. We want Casa Brío to feel like a little escape in Penwortham, somewhere people can enjoy good food, good company and a laid-back atmosphere, whatever the occasion.”

It will then be fully operational with regular opening hours from Wednesday, November 4th, opening six days a week and closing on Tuesdays.

What to expect

The pair said the restaurant has been inspired by their love of Spain and it’s food, and to “Think brunch, lunch and light bites by day, before things get a little more Spanish in the evening with tapas, wine and plates made for sharing.”
