Ilkeston favourite wins employee of the month
Ilkeston woman Tracy Sanderson's caring attitude towards customers and staff has earned her the title '˜employee of the month' for January 2016.
Tracy is assistant manager at Praesepe’s Beacon Bingo club in Ilkeston.
One of Beacon Bingo’s longest serving employees, Tracy has worked at the Ilkeston club for more than 20 years and knows all its regular customers by their first names.
General manager of the club, Mark Lowe, said: “Tracy thoroughly deserves this award.
“A great example of her caring attitude is the help and kindness she gives to one of our more elderly customers who has no family of his own and comes to the club everyday.
“Tracy keeps an eye on him, makes sure he is taking his medication and even helps him with his shopping!
“Tracy is also a great mentor to our staff. She is keen to see them develop and often sits in on training sessions in her own time to personally tutor any members of staff that need help.”
