I moved my trendy London restaurant Eastern Charm from Edgeware Road to Preston to be with my family
A family of restauranteurs has relocated their trendy London venue to Preston so they can spend more time as a family.
Newly opened Eastern Charm in Guildhall Street is owned by Abo Sousam and is delighting foodies with its wide range of authentic Middle Eastern flavours and dishes.
From mouth-watering Shawarma dishes to burgers and pizzas, visitors can expect to find something for all taste buds.
Director of Eastern Charm, Bachira Alhallack, said: “We had a restaurant in London, in Edgeware Road. My dad was there and we were here. It was a bit hard for us, we wanted the family to be together so we decided to move it up here.
“My Dad has been a chef for 25 years now and when we opened this restaurant we decided that we would put all of the effort and love and all the experience that my dad had into this restaurant”.
Edgeware Road is known amongst Londoners as the vibrant heart of the city’s food scene.
The new restaurant proudly boasts a menu that is 100% Halal.
Describing the restaurant’s most popular dish, Bachira said: “We have our Shawarma which is our main dish, we have some Middle Eastern Cuisine as well.”
The restaurant opened with a fanfare and customers have been travelling from across the UK to try the food.
Bachira described the warm welcome Eastern Charm had received, she said: “The opening of the restaurant was incredible, lots of people came. A lot of people from the council were invited and they were so happy. We’ve had diners from many different cities across the UK.”
Eastern Charm is open 10am to 11:30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 1am at weekends.
