Friends and family travelled far and wide to be with Deborah Bibby and Jack Atherton on their wedding day. Some came from Sweden, Canada and Australia to make the day one to remember when the couple wed at The Villa, Levens.
Born in Wales, Debbie moved to Leyland when she was six and now works as a beauty therapist and Jack, who grew up in Penwortham, is an IT infrastructure architect. Photos: www.h2photography.co.uk
They met through mutual school friends and became engaged when Jack planned a surprise trip to New York.
On the first day, they got up early and went for a walk to Central Park. They found a quiet spot and Jack got down on one knee and asked Debbie to marry him.
Debbie said: The wedding day itself was the best day of our lives.
We had our closest of friends and family there with us, who we love so much and it was amazing sharing that day with them all."
We did a few things ourselves for the day, table centres, sweetie corner, tables setting, picture collage and mini photo stand.
All this just gave the day a personal touch."
