The 15-year-old, who attends Carr Hill High School, in Kirkham, said: “I have done several fund-raising events, such as a sponsored 5k fancy dress walk from Bosco restaurant through Lytham, a sponsored walk up Rivington Pike, a bake sale at my school and I modelled and sold clothes at an open house event for a clothing line called Captain Tortue,

“I have also given a talk to pupils at Ribby with Wrea Primary School about confidence and how important it is for young people and teenagers to believe in themselves and support others.

“I did this because I feel that self-confidence is a really important issue but it is hardly ever spoken about.”
