Two offenders make off with 'quantity of cash' after robbing Spar shop in Lostock Hall

A "quantity of cash" was stolen from a Spar convenience store in Lostock Hall by two offenders.

Police were called to a report of a robbery at the Spar convenience store on Millwood Road in Lostock Hall yesterday evening (March 8).

Two offenders entered the store before making off from the scene with a quantity of cash.

There have been reports that staff may have been tied up during the incident, but this has not been confirmed by police.

The robbery is now being investigated and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We were called at shortly before 9.45pm on Sunday, March 8th to a report of a robbery at the Spar store on Millwood Road at Lostock Hall.

"Two offenders had entered the store and made off with a quantity of cash.

"The offence is being investigated."
