Teenage yobs hurl missiles at passers-by from roof of building
Police in Blackpool responded to 15 calls in just one week of teenagers throwing objects at pedestrians after climbing on the roof of a building.
Officers were dispatched to buildings at the junction of Waterloo Road and Lytham Road in Blackpool.
Police say the fire services were also called to assist.
A force spokesman said: "In the South Shore area, emergency services have responded to over 15 calls in this past week, of kids on the roofs of buildings at the junction of Waterloo Road/Lytham Road, throwing things at passing pedestrians.
"This sort of incident is very resource intensive with the police and fire service having to attend.
"So, again we politely ask do you know where your children are? If you are a parent/guardian we would like you to speak to your children about this particular issue, with a hope that you may be able to educate them on the dangers of this type of behaviour."
It's unclear whether any was injured during the incident.
