'Substantial reward' for return of dog last seen being chased and captured by men in white van near M55
“We are frantic with worry. She is such a friendly and lovely dog,” say Mabel’s heartbroken owners.
Police are appealing for the public’s help after a dog was stolen from a farm in Inskip.
Sarah Livesey told the Post that her “life has been shattered’ after her 18-month-old Cocker Spaniel Mabel went missing from the family farm in Preston Road at around 11am on Friday, April 10.

Sarah and her family are heartbroken and desperate for information, and are offering a ‘substantial reward’ for information leading to her safe return home.
Sarah told the Post: “We are frantic with worry. She is such a friendly and lovely dog. If you have her, please do the right thing and hand her back - there is a substantial reward waiting for her safe return.”
Lancashire Police believe Mabel was stolen after a member of the public reported seeing a dog being chased and put into a white van later the same day Mabel was found to be missing.
The force said the sighting was near the M55 corridor, close to junction 3 at Kirkham, and officers are focussing their search in the area.
Posters have been put up on the roundabout which links the M55 and M6 in Preston, appealing for anyone with information to get in touch with Sarah on either 07971 866 679 or 07825 986 832.

Sgt Dan Wilson, of Lancashire Police, said: “Our enquiries at present are focused around M55 corridor specifically Junction 3 (Kirkham) where a witness is believed to have seen a dog, possibly Mabel, being chased and put into a white van later the same day Mabel was found to be missing.
“As our investigation continues, we look to the public for any information they may be able to offer to help us find Mabel and to return her home safely to her loving family.”
