Seven Preston men due in court over alleged violent disorder in Leyland

Seven defendants will appear in court tomorrow over allegations they were involved in violent disorder in Leyland.

Shehroz Ahmad, 19, of Primrose Grove; Adam Khan, 19, of Albert Terrace, Amaam Ali Masud, 19, of St Stephens Road, Murad Sadique Mohammed, 19, of Leo Case Court, Samadur Rahman, 20, of Curwen Street, Dilbagh Singh, 18, of Brackenbury Road and Gurmail Singh, 19, also of Brackenbury Road have been charged with violent disorder.

It relates to an alleged public order incident in Leyland on March 4 last year.

In addition Gurmail Singh and Amaam Masud face a charge of dangerous driving in a Nissan Micra and Volkswagen Polo on Vicarsfield Road, Leyland, on that same date.

All previously pleaded not guilty to the charges at Preston Magistrates’ Court and the case was committed.

They have a case management hearing at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday.
