Preston man admits possessing dog images

A man who was found to be in possession of extreme pornographic images involving dogs and humans has been given a two year community order.

Nathan James Walsh, 43, of Cumeragh Lane, Whittingham, near Preston, admitted the offence, which dates back to October 2018, at Preston Crown Court.

Judge Simon Newell imposed a 40 day rehabilitation order on the 43-year-old, along with six months of drug rehabilitation.

The court ordered the forfeiture of a laptop that the images were found on.

He was also ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge.

Extreme pornography is illegal under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 and, as well as bestiality, it can also include images that portrays an act which threaten a person’s life, or could cause serious injury.
