Public warned not to approach man wanted in connection with stabbing in Preston

Police wanted to speak to Ryan George Evans in connection with a stabbing in De Lacy Street on Wednesday (December 1).
The 29-year-old is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with blue eyes and light brown hair.

Hide AdEvans has links to the Ingol, Ashton and city centre areas of Preston.
"The public are advised not to approach Evans but to report any immediate sightings to police by calling 999," a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.

Ambulance crews rushed to De Lacy Street after receiving an anonymous report that a man had been found "staggering and bleeding".

Hide AdParamedics discovered a 42-year-old man with injuries to his leg after arriving at the scene and contacted the police at around 2.15am.
Pictures from the street showed a large section of the pavement was cordoned off while crime scene investigators examined the area.
Officers said the man's injuries were "not life threatening" but urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
