Man left fighting for his life after suffering 'very serious head injuries' in Ramsbottom street attack

Police were called to reports a man had been assaulted in Bridge Street at around 10.05pm on Saturday (August 6).
The victim – a man in his 40s – was found with “very serious” head injuries when officers arrived.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital where police said he remained in a “critical condition” on Sunday (August 7).
Det Chief Insp John Charlton, of GMPs Bury CID, said: “This incident has left a man with some very serious injuries and we need to locate the person who has done this.”
The suspect is described as a white male, around 20-years-old, 5ft 10in tall, of slim build and with blonde hair.
