Man hospitalised with ‘serious injuries’ after stabbing in Walton-le-Dale

Police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Church Brow at around 9.45pm on Tuesday (October 25).

A man was found with serious injuries, including a stab wound, at a nearby address when officers arrived.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where police said he remained in a “serious condition” on Wednesday (October 26).

A 46-year-old man was arrested a short time later after also attending hospital with injuries.

Detectives later released a CCTV image of a man they believed “could have vital information”.

“If you are the man in the picture we would ask you to call us or go to the nearest police station and make yourself known,” a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.
