Man, 28, arrested after gunshots fired from car in Preston

A man has been arrested after gunshots were fired in a Preston street.

The incident happened at 3.30pm on August 30. Two shots were fired from inside a car on Elcho Street, and men wearing balaclavas were spotted fleeing the scene in a silver Land Rover.

A 28-year-old man from Preston has been detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent. He remains in police custody.
