Lead stolen from roof of St Cecilia's RC High School in Longridge prompting Lancashire Police to launch CCTV appeal

A man is wanted by police after lead was stolen from the roof of a school in Longridge.

Lead was stolen from the roof of St Cecilia’s High School in Chapel Hill between June 9 and 10.

The theft damaged multiple other items in the process, police said.

Detectives on Tuesday (June 14) released a CCTV image of a man they wanted to speak to.

Police said the man “could potentially be local to Longridge or the surrounding areas.”
