Boys seen riding scooter recklessly in Preston

A group of boys have been spotted recklessly riding scooters and off-road motorbikes on the streets of Preston.

Police are appealing for the public's help to identify the boys and bikes in the pictures and to report any further sightings.

The boys, who appear too young to legally ride the bikes, have been spotted motoring along the roads in Ingol, putting themselves and other at risk.

One picture shared by police shows three boys on one bike, with all three aged in their early-to-mid teens.

Police said the boys were seen riding "dangerously" and on the wrong side of the road.

Lancashire Police is asking those who recognise the boys, or spot them riding the bikes, to email the force at [email protected].

A police spokesman said: "It has been reported that three young males have been riding this bike dangerously and on the wrong side of the road in the Ingol area of Preston.

"If you know any of these people, or know where the bike is being kept, please let us know."

The force also shared another picture of a young man on an off-road bike in Tanterton Hall Road, Ingol.

It tweeted: "We are seeing a rise in complaints relating to criminal use of off-road bikes. If you know the person pictured below, please let us know.
