Bamber Bridge man who is on Sex Offender's Register is accused of flouting requirements

A man has been charged with flouting his sexual offender notification requirements.

Martin James Dolphin, 40, of Old Hall Drive, Bamber Bridge, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court.

It is alleged he failed to complete his annual registration on April 17 last year, and failed to notify a change of address on January 13 last year.

Mr Dolphin had attempted to apply for a judge to put reporting restrictions on the case, but has now abandoned his bid.

His case was committed to Preston Crown Court where he will appear on April 20 for a plea hearing.

He was granted unconditional bail until then.
