16-year-old boy stabbed outside McDonald's at Preston Docks

The teenager was stabbed outside the drive-thru at around 8.40pm, say police.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, where the boy was treated by paramedics.

Police said he has suffered 'superficial injuries' in the attack.

No-arrests have been made at this stage, but police say there are looking for a number of people in connection with the stabbing.

A police spokesman said: "There was a stabbing outside McDonalds at about 8.40pm.

"16-year-old victim with superficial injuries.

"Enquiries ongoing to locate the offenders.

"Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log 1370 of Sept 22"

North West Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.

Second stabbing in Kent Street?

There were also reports of a second stabbing in Kent Street last night, but police say they have received no reports regarding this incident.
