The Visit Lancashire social media channels will also be celebrating the day by sharing a little Lancashire nostalgia, with “now and then” and “guess the location” style posts inviting followers to share their cherished old photos and memories of their grand days out in the county.

Vikki Harris, Marketing and Partnerships Director at Marketing Lancashire said: “Lancashire Day continues to be a big celebration with more and more people joining in the fun on our social media channels, sharing what they love most about Lancashire. We also take the opportunity to amplify the achievements of incredible businesses in the county, who take the Lancashire success story to the rest of the world and welcome visitors with a warmth and generosity that’s second to none.
