A cat-monitoring camera captured the moment two intruders entered a home in Nelson before reportedly stealing cash, security cameras and a laptop.
The footage was recorded at a property on Burnley Road where the occupant had set up indoor cameras to keep an eye on their cats while away from home.
Officers say two individuals entered the address while the occupant was out and stole cash, security cameras and a laptop before leaving shortly afterwards.
A number of enquiries have already been carried out, but the suspects have not yet been identified.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “We are now in a position to ask for your help in trying to identify the two people in the video.”
