Casualty rescued from burning building by fire crews in Lostock Hall

A person was rescued from a fire at a domestic building in Lostock Hall yesterday (April 14).

Two fire engines from Leyland and Bamber Bridge attended the scene in Marina Drive shortly before 10pm.

Crews led one person from the garage roof using two triple extension ladders, the fire service said.

Firefighters then administered first aid to the casualty using a medical kit.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene for one hour and thirty minutes.
