Boy, 14, left shaken after being pushed off and robbed of e-bike in Skelsmerdale

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 14-year-old boy was pushed off and robbed of his e-bike in Skelmersdale.

They were called at 5.48pm on Saturday to Whiteledge Road to a report of robbery.

The teenage boy was followed by two males as he rode across the bridge on Whiteledge Road towards Abbeystead.

One of them pushed him off his e-bike – pictured in the image - into the bushes by the side of the footpath.

The second male then took the victim’s bike, discarding his own push bike at the scene.

Both left the scene down the footpath towards Alderley and the M58.

If you were in the area and saw what happened or have since seen the e-bike which was stolen, please get in touch with police.
