Lancashire Day is celebrated every year on November 27, marking the date in 1295 when Lancashire first sent representatives to Parliament.
Created in 1996 by the Friends of Real Lancashire, the day has grown into a county-wide celebration filled with town crier proclamations, local events and plenty of traditional Lancashire favourites.
Whether enjoyed in pubs, at community events or around family tables, these classic dishes continue to capture the county’s warmth, character and culinary history.
