Anna Beniaiche, 34, transformed her "bland and clinical" white kitchen into a stylish diner with help of the bargain stick-on tiles.

She spotted the grey hexagon print in her local store last week after going in for household items.

The savvy mum-of-two bought the store's entire stock before asking a shop assistant where she could buy more.

Anna drove seven miles to buy 40 more stick-on tiles to stock up for the transformation.

Later that day Anna decided to get to work and after a few hours had reworked her kitchen with a plush interior design.

M&S shop assistant Anna said: "I just couldn't look at the white any longer! I just love it.

Before...

"Thankfully, because of lockdown, I could find the time to do it. I have been meaning to retile it for a while but I couldn't decide which colour or design.

"The tiles caught my eye and I phoned my husband who just said to give it a go.

"There were only a few packets in there so I asked the shop assistant the nearest shop which had them in stock.

"I quickly made my way across London so I could get the rest.

... and after

"I didn't actually see them on the shop floor and had to ask someone to get them out of the stockroom. I'm just shocked at how good they are.

"They were stick-on and are heat safe. At first I thought if I get bored of them I can keep them up for a few years and then take them down but I love them!

"I hope other people see what I've done and give it a go!

"It's easy to do and most of the time you put something off because you've got to pay someone. Everybody likes a bargain."
