Have your cake and eat it - at home
Sweet-toothed Prestonians can now have their favourite desserts delivered straight to their door, thanks to a new ordering service.
Delivered Desserts has begun operating in the PR1, PR2, PR4 and PR5 areas from bases at Bond’s Ice Cream in Preston Guild Hall and Vittorias in Kirkham.
“It’s going really well, people seem to be loving this new idea”, said manager Louise Shepherd.
“We have a huge menu online, but the most popular products are probably waffles, milkshakes, cookie dough and hot drinks.
“We’re most busy at weekends, particularly Sundays when people might have been out the night before.”
Separate hot and cold delivery bags are used to stop ice cream from melting, and as well as sweet treats, a range of pizzas are also available.
The venture follows a trend for dessert restaurants in Preston, following the opening of Kaspa’s and Heavenly Desserts.
