In March 2010, Mohammed Umar, founder of Oodles, saw an opportunity in the market. A modest takeaway restaurant located in a busy part of Leicester offered a chance to develop an idea that had been brewing in his head for some time.

His life experiences alongside his love for food, saw him create the concept of freshly-cooked Indo Chinese food in a relaxed atmosphere at great value for money. The Oodles concept was born.

Mohammed and his brother Ismail set about creating a menu full of Indo Chinese dishes using their own take on recipes with sauces and marinades.

After beginning the journey with the opening of a flagship store in Leicester, they now operate in 34 locations across the UK.
