A day of good taste at the Bay

Botany Bay is inviting people to join them in a celebration of locally produced food and drink.

This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, their artisan producers who include many award winners, will offer food tastings, demonstrations, special offers and competitions; alongside children’s activities, to make this a must attend event for the people of Lancashire.

Botany Bay food hall is home local producers such as Ye Olde Sausage Shop, Choc Amor, All You Knead, Fiddlers crisps, Dewlay cheese and Tootsies Ice-cream, who will all provide tasters and special offers for this weekend.

Special guest, Philippa James, above, food editor at Lancashire Life, will also be on site giving cookery demonstrations, showing how healthy balanced meals can be cooked using local produce in less than 20 minutes – she loves a challenge!
