From September 27, there will be art displays, local history talks, a community cinema, Saturday morning film screenings for children, and live music from 7pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturdays.
A new stage has been built, there is a licenced bar and seating for up to 80 people, though the venue will hold around 100.

Samantha Jones, events co-ordinator for the council, said: This is a community building and were open to peoples ideas on what to use it for. But our aim is to build-up and showcase local talent."
She added:Were overwhelmed with peoples response to it so far, it's been really, reallypositive.
"This is something that not many councils do, and it's very much led by the community. Its another fantastic addition to the local area.
