Mrs D Relph of Penwortham won the Preston and District Ladies Charity Cup played at Ashton and Lea Golf Club. Seven clubs and 84 competitors took part, and the proceeds, a cheque for £350, was presented to representatives from the Royal Cross School for the Deaf.
