A review is set for Wednesday, December 16, with any changes to Tiers for any area set to be announced before being put in place from Saturday, December 19.
Ahead of the review we've looked at the latest figures from Public Health England, which show the the case rate for neighbourhoods in Preston for the seven days to December 9, 2020.
Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

1. Ingol - cases up 180%
There were 14 cases recorded in Ingol, up 180%. The current rolling case rate is 232.5 which is above the national average.

2. Preston Town Centre - cases up 78.9%
There were 34 cases recorded in Preston Town Centre, up 78.9%. The current rolling case rate is 311.8 which is above the national average.

3. Ashton-on-Ribble & Larches - cases up 22.7%
There were 27 cases recorded in Ashton-on-Ribble & Larches, up 22.7%. The current rolling case rate is 253.2 which is above the national average.

4. Brookfield & Holme Slack - cases up 17.2%
There were 34 cases recorded in Brookfield & Holme Slack, up 17.2%. The current rolling case rate is 334.3 which is above the national average.
