A review is set for Wednesday, December 16, with any changes to Tiers for any area set to be announced before being put in place from Saturday, December 19.
Ahead of the review we've looked at the latest figures from Public Health England, which show the the case rate for neighbourhoods in Preston for the seven days to December 9, 2020.
Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

5. Lea & Marina - cases up 10%
There were 11 cases recorded in Lea & Marina, up 10%. The current rolling case rate is 168.9 which is above the national average.
6. Fulwood - cases up 9.1%
There were 24 cases recorded in Fulwood, up 9.1%. The current rolling case rate is 271.1 which is above the national average.
7. Ribbleton - cases up 5.9%
There were 18 cases recorded in Ribbleton, up 5.9%. The current rolling case rate is 176.1 which is above the national average.
8. Grimsargh & Goosnargh - cases down 5.6%
There were 17 cases recorded in Grimsargh & Goosnargh, down 5.6%. The current rolling case rate is 264.8 which is above the national average.
