TIBHS welcomes prospective students to TB6 Sixth Form Open Evening

Tauheedul Islam Boys’ High School (TIBHS) is delighted to welcome prospective students and their families to its TB6 Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday 19 November from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
TB6 opened in September 2022 and has quickly established itself as a post-16 centre of excellence. The sixth form combines academic achievement, character and faith development, and community engagement, giving students the skills and tools they need to reach their full potential and contribute positively to society.
Guests at the open evening will have the chance to meet TB6’s exceptional teaching staff, speak with current students, and tour the school’s modern, purpose-built campus and state-of-the-art facilities. Visitors can explore the variety of A level and vocational subjects available, in addition to the extensive enrichment and extra-curricular activities on offer. Students can also discover more about leadership and personal development opportunities such as the TB6 Excellence Programme, which will help prepare them to pursue places at the most elite international universities and seek competitive internships with leading companies.
At 6pm, Principal Majid Ditta will deliver a welcome address, showcasing the cohesive community and shared sense of purpose that is at the heart of TB6 life. The school’s sixth form prides itself on its close-knit, family atmosphere, ensuring every student feels supported, valued and motivated to fulfil their career goals and aspirations.

As part of Star Academies – one of the UK’s leading education providers – TB6 benefits from the expertise, collaborative approaches and comprehensive support that has enabled Star to deliver excellent student results across the country. In March 2024, the school and sixth form were graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted, with inspectors noting that ‘The school’s ambition extends to the new sixth form, where students thrive in the unashamedly academic environment.’
TB6 achieved a second year of exceptional results in 2025, with 31% of all A levels completed at A*-A and 89% completed at A*-C. 100% of vocational students achieved a ‘DDD’ (Triple Distinction) grade or better. An impressive 14% of students progressed to study Medicine, while 59% secured places at university and a further 18% embarked on degree apprenticeships or entered employment. These outcomes reflect the outstanding careers guidance available at TB6, alongside the tailored support provided to help students navigate their next steps in education and beyond.
