Redrow to host Macmillan Coffee Morning at two Lancashire developments
TO mark the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this Friday (September 27) Redrow will be holding an event in Burscough and Leyland.
Residents and local communities are invited to attend for refreshments and cakes in return for a small donation to the Macmillan charity.
The events, from 10am – 12 noon will be held at:
- Redrow’s The Grange at Yew Tree Park development on Chancel Way, Burscough.
-
Redrow’s Worden Gardens development on Leyland Lane, Leyland.

Every penny raised will help the charity to be right there for people living with cancer and to bring everyone together.
“We will be holding an event at The Grange and Worden Gardens, everyone is welcome, and entry is free,” said Steve Jackson, sales director at Redrow Lancashire.
“The team will be pulling together some terrific treats, all we ask is for in return is a donation back to this amazing charity.”
The first Macmillan Coffee Morning took place in 1990 and was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, Macmillan did it again the following year but this time they did it on a national scale. For more information or to donate visit www.coffee.macmillan.org.uk
