Helping Hand Chorley food bank providing ongoing support this Christmas

Supporting our Chorley community.
As Christmas approaches, Helping Hand Chorley – Food Bank wants people across Chorley to know that support is available for anyone who may be finding things difficult. For many, this time of year can bring extra pressure, and reaching out for help isn’t always easy, but you are not alone.
We are a local, community-run food bank, set up to support people in Chorley. If you’re struggling to put food on the table, please don’t worry about paperwork or referrals, no referral is needed. You can contact us directly, in confidence, for food supplies and local support.
There is no judgement and no pressure. We provide practical food support to help individuals and families through the festive period and into the new year, because no one in our town should go without.

Brenda Lambert shared a reassuring update:
“Our open kitchens will be back open on 07.01.26 on Hollinshead Street. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.”
Shaz Malik added:
“Christmas is about community, kindness, and looking out for one another. If you need help, or know someone who might, please share this message.”
From everyone at Helping Hand Chorley – Food Bank, we wish the community a peaceful Christmas and a hopeful New Year. If you or someone you know needs food support, please don’t hesitate to get in touch or pass this message on.
