Many of the city's pubs have adapted to the strict new conditions, which ban households mixing and require customers to order food with their drinks.
It has seen some pubs offer a food menu for the first time in years, whilst others are providing generous discounts on meals (the Ships and Giggles are selling burgers for just 1p!)

9. The Moorbrook, North Road
The Moorbrook is still open and continues to offer a great range of cask ales and keg beers to enjoy alongside their famous wood-fired pizzas and shortcrust pies. You can book a table by calling them on 01772 823302.
10. Ribble Pilot, Mariners Way, Preston Docks
The Ribble Pilot, a family-friendly spot with a garden, play area and dock views, has introduced a new food menu today (Thursday, October 22). Open 7-days-a-week. You can call them on 01772 760673 to book a table.
11. Anderton Arms, Longsands Lane, Fulwood
This Fulwood pub is open and has introduced a new set menu offering a meal and a drink for just £5.99, available Monday to Friday, 12pm till 9pm. They are also providing a takeaway service, so you can enjoy their food in the comfort of your own home.
