The Continental's beer and cider festival is back for 17th time
The Continental, on South Meadow Lane, is holding the four-day event, seeing thousands of drinkers coming through its doors.

Hide AdAlso offering live music and food, the festival has more than 200 ales, ciders, craft beers, perrys and specialist kegs.
A spokesman from the pub said: “There’s going to e lots of live music and DJs throughout the weekend.
“We’re in our 17th festival now and they’ve always been really popular and great events.

Hide Ad“With more than 200 beers and ciders there’s something for everyone and we’re hoping for a really good day of weather too.
“Thousands of people have come to previous events and we’re looking forward to welcoming thousands more in May.
“It’s sure to be another brilliant weekend and we’re all really looking forward to it.”

Hide AdA barbecue from the chefs of The Ferret in Preston will be one of many attractions with vegan and vegetarian options.
In the specialist keg and beer bar, will be a rundown of dozens of emerging craft keg brewers.
A second beer hall is offered under a huge marquee which boasts a new improved seating area.
There’s also a pop-up spirits bar.

Hide AdThe festival runs on Thursday, May 11 from 5pm to 12am, Friday, May 12 from 12pm to 12.30am, Saturday, May 13 from 12pm until 12.30am and Sunday, May 14 from 12pm until 8pm.
Tickets are limited due to health and safety.
