Our Fishergate bollard has gone bouncing yet again
The infamous Fishergate Bollard has been knocked off its perch for the third time in four months.
The much-battered and bruised road marker was demolished by a vehicle over the Bank Holiday weekend, the latest in a long line of mishaps by motorists.
Heather Atkins spotted the missing bollard and took to Twitter, asking "Smashed again? Well it is a bank holiday".
The bollard, which has its own Twitter account, is expected to be returned to its plinth in the next week.
