The salon is booked up till the middle of May with people desperate for grooming, but Nicola and her staff won't be working extra hours like they did after the first lockdown. Owner Nicola said: "We found it's not worth it. What happens is, you get two or three weeks of it being crazy, then a period of nothing."

After losing a lot of that time to Covid restrictions, she's now hoping to truly put her stamp on the place, and has spent the last lockdown carrying out a full refurbishment.

"We have mixed feelings about Monday", said Nicola.

"We can't wait to open again, but at the same time, we've been here before and have been closed down.

"But this time we've done a full refurbishment - everything you can think of - and we are looking forward to people seeing it."
